Samson R10s To Computer

3 studies on air vibrations.

These records focus on the most minimal components of the acoustic perception, or at the mere vibration of air. I simply blown into a mouthpiece for trumpet, moving the microphones around the mouthpiece. The bet was to explore an entire world of sound from a minimal gesture and harmless as breathing, dismembering the wind and analyzing it, breaking it down into its simplest parts. In these records you will not hear no sound, no noise, but rather the a priori of any acoustic phenomenon, which in a strange and unusual you back to memory the sound of wind or the morning breeze. This ambiguity between naturalness on the one hand and on the other extreme artificiality is the most distinctive feature of these three recordings.
